With the exception of the four years that I spent at the University of Richmond earning a B.A. degree in English, I am a lifelong resident of the Baltimore metro area. I have lived in various communities in both Baltimore County and Baltimore City. Prior to becoming a real estate agent, I was a high school English teacher in Baltimore County Public Schools, and then a disability examiner for the Maryland Disability Determination Services (Social Security Disability program). While both of my prior careers were fulfilling, my true calling is helping people achieve their homeownership dreams and goals.
I am a top producing agent licensed in both Maryland and Pennsylvania. I have extensive experience in the larger Baltimore metropolitan area. In Pennsylvania, I primarily serve York and Adams Counties. I have also been a corporate relocation certified agent for 12 years, which has given me experience in both listing and selling homes in many diverse locations throughout the metro area. I believe that communication is a key element of any real estate transaction, and to that end, it is my goal to provide clear, concise, and consistent communication throughout the entire transaction. My top notch marketing plan, which begins with pricing the home correctly, has resulted in high levels of seller satisfaction with achieving their desired outcomes (primarily fewer days on market and higher purchase price). On the buyer side of the transaction, I am a fierce advocate for my clients. I provide guidance and advice to help buyers submit winning offers in a tough market while still protecting the buyers' interests. I am detail oriented, and manage every step of the transaction from beginning to end.
On a personal note, I have resided in Monkton with my husband and 3 children for the past 20 years. When I'm not working, I enjoy reading, walking, traveling, and spending time with my adult children.
